Jonna Bruinsma

Jonna Bruinsma is a photographer based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She holds a bachelor of design photography from de HKU, where she graduated in 2019.

In the past years, Bruinsma set up different documentary projects in the south of Italy. Here she visually adresses the challenges between deeply rooted family traditions, cultural conventions and their effects on a young generation growing up in between these changes. Next to her documentary work, she works on various commissioned assignments in the Netherlands.
